Congratulations to the AIM Class of 2009 Graduates

Marquette is home to one of the nation’s top undergraduate programs in applied investment management. The AIM program allows a select group of finance majors to get hands-on academic and security analysis experience, including summer internships and an opportunity to actively manage an equity and fixed-income portfolio throughout their senior year.

Students study the core body of knowledge covered in the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) exam – preparing them to take the test upon graduation – and begin a career in the money management industry. Beginning in Fall 2007, the International Applied Investment Management (IAIM) program was introduced.  In 2008 a student-managed international equity fund was added.

CFA Educational Partner

Marquette University’s Applied Investment Management (AIM) program was the first undergraduate business program selected as a CFA Program Partner. The partnership designation means that Marquette offers a degree program that covers at least 70 percent of the CFA Program Candidate Body of Knowledge, the CFA Institute Ethical and Professional Standards, and other requirements. Learn more about the AIM Program's Educational Partnership with the CFA Institute.

AIM Program Mission Statement

The Applied Investment Management program, guided by Marquette University’s Jesuit values, provides undergraduate students the opportunity to integrate the financial principles they are learning, along with relevant internships and investment experiences, so that they may become proficient and ethical investment research analysts in an increasingly globalize world.
