The Marquette business degree is professional education for a life time of leadership in
business and society. Ethics are a key
component to the curriculum. Students are required to take two ethics courses and each
business course includes some ethical dimension. The Liberal
Arts focus allows students to take almost half of their coursework from arts
and sciences, including English, history, mathematics, philosophy, theology, languages,
and electives. The entire educational experience emphasizes writing and speaking skills. Small class size allows for case discussions,
papers, and presentations. The average business class is approximately 30 students. Course availability is a high priority in the
College. Courses are available for students to graduate in four years.

Marquette business students have one on one faculty advising sessions at least twice a
year. All business faculty are required to have at least six hours of office hours weekly

each applicant at applicant at the time of admissions and we admit students directly into the College of Business
Administration as freshman.
