Some of this work has been published in journals such as Information Systems Research (ISR), the International Journal of Forecasting, and the Journal of Forecasting. Recently she has begun examining gender-based and cultural issues of Information Technology. Her preliminary work in this area is being published in Information Technology & People. She has also received a number of grants. Most recently she was a co-recipient of a grant from 3M Corporation that examines the impact of outsourcing on American higher education. Dr. Adya is a member of the Association of Information Systems and the International Institute of Forecasters. She also serves on the editorial board of the International Journal of Forecasting.
