Who we are: An organization that promotes academic, professional and leadership development through professional and social events with other students, faculty, alumni and professionals interested in economic issues and careers.
Who can join: We are open to all Economics majors (undergraduate and graduate) and any undergraduate or graduate student interested in economic issues.
What it costs: The membership fee is $5 per semester.

- Al’s Run Team
- Speakers and discussion on Economic topics
- Trip to Chicago Federal Reserve Bank
- Formal dinner/networking event
Spring 2008 MEA Schedule of Events:
- Coffee/Bagel Mixer with Students and Faculty: 1/23: (9:30 - 11:00 AM - DS404)
- Miller Brewery Tour: 2/20
- Spring Honors Banquet: 4/10 (Keynote speaker is Dr. Abdur Chowdhury)
- Regular meetings (7:30 PM in DS356)
