Profile: Cathy Dailey

As owner/director of cdc SportsMarketing, Cathy's job selling Brewers Radio ad time is very time intensive and she often finds herself studying after a long day on the job and/or after attending one of her MBA classes. She admits that she is "never not working." She goes after what she wants and doesn't take no for an answer. "I feel most alive when I'm taking risks. If I don't try or don't ask, I'm no better or no worse off. But if you do try and do ask, you open yourself up to a world of possibilities." This philosophy contributes to her success in her business and the gusto with which she greets her life, her leisure time and her schooling. She has received several academic performance scholarships at Marquette and is two classes away from earning her MBA. She anticipates that her MBA will give her that extra edge — the credibility and respect that a Marquette degree offers.
