Graduation Ceremony - May 18, 2008
College of Business Ceremony

south of the Bradley Center (where the University ceremony
is held), so there is no need to move your vehicle between
ceremonies.
At the College of Business and Graduate School of Management ceremony, your name will be read and you will walk across the stage. Tickets are required for guests of undergraduate students for the College Ceremony. Information will be sent to undergraduate students directly with regard to ordering and picking up tickets.
No tickets are required for graduate students and their guests. There is no limit to the number of people you can bring to the ceremony. Seating is on a first-come basis. Academic apparel will be worn at the College Ceremony.
The College Ceremony will conclude by 1:30 pm.

Annual Graduation activities will be held Sunday, May 18, 2008 at the Bradley Center. Candidates for graduation, their families and friends are invited to join with President Robert A. Wild, S.J., and Marquette faculty and administrators in celebrating this important occasion.
Through these activities, we recognize not only the achievements of our graduates, but also acknowledge parents, spouses and others for their support.
The graduation mass, graduation program and distribution of academic apparel will be handled by the University Special Events Department.

Guest seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
All candidates for graduation must report to the Bradley Center by 8:30 a.m. Procession lines will form at 8:45 a.m. There will be no rehearsal; complete instructions will be provided at the Bradley Center.
Candidates should assemble at the banner of their respective school or college. (Undergraduates will line up behind the College of Business banner, graduate students will line up behind the Graduate School of Management banner.)
All candidates will march in the academic procession and be seated during the graduation program according to individual schools or colleges.
The graduation program will begin promptly at 9:30 a.m. It is expected to conclude by 11:30 a.m.
The University Mass and Graduation Program will be signed. At Mass the signers will be at the front of the altar near the east side. At the Graduation Program the signers will be seated on the floor level in front of the stage, at the east side. There are no signers scheduled for the College ceremony. Please contact the College as soon as possible if you have a need for a signer.
For the graduation program the entrance is the main entrance of the Bradley Center. Seating is on the main concourse.
Graduation candidates may pick up academic apparel on Tuesday, May 13, 2008, from 10 am-6 pm and Wednesday May 14, 2008 from 10 am-4 pm, in the Alumni Memorial Union, Room 227. If the candidate cannot pick up his/her own apparel, a friend or a relative may come in his/her place. Information needed to pick up the cap and gown is the candidate's name, college, degree, and height. Academic apparel will not be distributed at the Arena.
Undergraduates may retain their "keepsake" cap and gown. All graduates in the Graduate School of Management must return caps, gowns, and hoods to the representative of the cap and gown company immediately following the graduation program. (Tassels may be retained as a keepsake.)
Diplomas may be
picked up in the Office of the Registrar in Marquette Hall,
Room 310, any weekday between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
Any special arrangements
for mailing of diplomas, etc., must be made directly with
the Office of the Registrar.
The office of the Registrar can be contacted at 414.288.7034.
An invitation from the President of the University will be sent to parents or spouse, as indicated by the graduates on forms submitted through the deans' offices.
