Skills Development

A graduate degree is more than just textbook knowledge; you need to develop skills to advance in business.

Your success as an executive depends on more than your knowledge of finance, accounting and marketing. It also depends on your communication skills as well as your skills at working within groups, making persuasive presentations, and diagnosing business problems. The innovative curriculum of Marquette's MBA Program ensures that you have the theoretical and practical knowledge, but goes further, ensuring that you use your knowledge to excel in a dynamic business environment.

As part of the MBA curriculum you take between one and four 1-credit skills courses. These short courses help develop skills in various areas. Some of the skills courses offered recently have been: Teams and Teambuilding, Managing Innovation, SPSS, SAS, Powerful Presentations and more.
