ELECTIVE COURSES
(10 CREDIT HOURS)
Nine credits of
free electives and one credit of "skills" courses (BUAD
291) are required. BUAD 291 Skills courses range from topics
such as negotiations, conflict management, and presentation
skills to SAS, SPSS and GIS courses. Students can take up
to 4 credits of skills courses.
Students may choose
to earn a specialization in areas such as Marketing, Human
Resources, Applied Economics, etc., or they may choose to
distribute their electives over a number of different fields.
Students may also choose graduate electives from outside
of the College of Business or even outside of the University
with prior approval. Courses taken in the elective core
and in the elective section can be used toward a specialization.
Only courses taken at Marquette University will count toward
a specialization.
